Virtual Workshop on Implementing TDRP

November 7-8, 12-4 ET 

You have attended the webinars and read the books so you know the basics of Talent Development Reporting Principles (TDRP). What you really want now is help implementing TDRP. What should you do first? What have others done? How do you overcome obstacles?

This first-of-its-kind, large-scale, virtual workshop is designed to help you succeed in implementing TDRP in particular and a sound measurement and reporting strategy in general. Dave Vance and Peggy Parskey, creators of TDRP and authors of the series Measurement Demystified, will facilitate two days of interaction to answer your implementation questions and prepare you for success.

The workshop will address these critical topics:

• Assessing the readiness of your department for TDRP
• Getting buy-in from your CLO
• Increasing your team’s knowledge and use of TDRP
• Selecting program measures
• Selecting department-wide measures
• Identifying opportunities in your reporting
• Creating your own implementation plan
• Overcoming common obstacles to success

Dave and Peggy will briefly review the theory behind each topic and then participants will have the opportunity to share their plans, ideas and obstacles with each other in small breakout groups followed by sharing with the entire group. Participants will also have the opportunity to capture their own plans in a workbook which will be an important take-away from the workshop.

To be clear, the workshop will not cover each topic in depth. Webinars, past conferences and the books are designed to do that. Instead, the workshop will focus on implementing and sustaining, which is where most tell us they need help. (Book and webinar references will be provided for each topic to learn more.)
